    Very good

Staff generally pleasant and helpful but possibly overwhelmed at times (see below)

Arrangements for evening meals in restaurant were a bit vague and although the one person responsible for taking orders and generally shepherding guests from bar to restaurant worked hard it appeared at times as though some additional help would have made the whole operation much more comfortable for both guests and staff. There seemed to be too many staff looking after bar meal customers at the expense of restaurant users

    Exceptional

Great staff, nice room, nice hotel, great location right on the beach cliff

Twin room had very narrow beds - not usual single width. Extremely uncomfortable.

    Exceptional

I stayed at the manor for three nights . It was my second short stay at the Manor, and once again I found that my room was clean and very well serviced. I particularly liked the modern well presented interiors which had been sensitively integrated into the original Victorian building. I would definitely book the Manor Hotel again when I travel to this part of the coast.

I thought it would have been good to have an information sheet or booklet with varIous hotel details placed within each room, containing things like breakfast times, etc. If there was such a sheet in my room I didn't see it. Also a better, bigger and clearer fire escape route layout, with assembly instructions on the door would have been informative. Finally a vegetarian option on the breakfast menu would have been good to see. Eg. Vege' sausages, etc

    Fabulous

Good food, although there was a long wait for it especially at breakfast!!

The music playing in the restraunt in the evening was too loud and unsuitable for the diners who were all over 60 and it was a pop radio station

Pleasant staff, welcoming atmosphere, good food. Nice walks.

    Superb

Friendly staff, quiet location, clean and well decorated. Lift is very convenient when you are on the second floor. Residents lounge furnished with quality items. Restaurant and bar food very tasty and open to no residents. Not the cheapest accommodation but well worth the money.

Only niggle was the lack of information in the room, but all staff were able to give good information for hotel and area.

Great location, easy parking, clean room and friendly staff

Bathroom could do with a blind as sun could make it rather hot!

    Very good

Hotel recently refurbished to a good standard

    It would be helpful to guests if there was an information sheet in the room, confirming meal-times, how to use the phone/get a wake-up call etc ;

Quietness of location and the views.Willingness of the staff even though some of their actions and services were amateurish for a professional establishment.(Reception was particularly poor and hesitant, lacking 'brisk professionalism' in all aspects) The position enabled easy access to most lovely Norfolk centres of beauty, interest & commerce.

Atmosphere in general was 'stale' upstairs, verging on 'odiferous'.Our 'superior bedroom' was oppressive and airless. We were unable to sleep at all in the hot, clammy surroundings. (The hotel was clearly aware of a problem as a very powerful fan had been placed in the worst corner.)

    Very good

Staff were all very good, attentive, and actually cared!

Was not so keen on my shower. Not of great quality. Have stayed in many cheaper hotels with better showers. Not in keeping with quality of rest of Hotel which was great! This is an observation, and not a complaint.

    Good

Evening meals were very good, and lounge/bar excellent. Position was good.

Room 18 had a very small bathroom. Shower was a waste of time, water pressure being the reason. Using the loo was diffficult for long legged people.
